Two sets of readers?

I have looked around the board and can't find what I am looking for. How do I assign readers to my 8 year old twin girls? Do I need two sets of the same readers, or can I just alternate the readers between them?

What readers? The emerging set? DITHOR?
I would probably try to just have them read them at different times during the day.
