Preparing - Book about Stars...extra pages?

We just finished Unit 22 of Preparing and had a question about the star books my kiddos created in Unit 16. We folded 8 sheets of paper, so that made 16 sheets. They made one entry for 7 weeks but used front and back so we have like 12 pages left. It seems that we are done with the book...are they supposed to add to it later or did we do something wrong?

Same thing happened to us. We used front and back and ended up with extra.

We did the same thing. Next year I won't do front/back. My kids still talk about their star books.

Ok, thanks ladies! I'll just put a note in my book for next time and we'll spread things out a bit more. My kiddos enjoyed making them and they still turned out great
