Hi. I was just curious if anyone has had their child take the ITBS after using Bigger for third grade with R&S English 2 and without adding anything to the program? If so, how did they do? Thanks.

I believe the Iowa test is what dh does with our dc. My ds did Beyond (not Bigger)in 3rd grade and used R&S English 2. It was his first year of a formal English program and his scores in the English areas jumped tremendously. Last year, his English scores were in the 90th something percentile and so were dd's. HTH.

YES! My oldest DS did just that and scored in the 94th percentile overall, 96th in Reading Comprehension, and 100th in Spelling (we had been doing Dictation for 2 years by then). :D Probably his lowest score was "Social Studies" and that was just because we didn't focus on some of the general topics that the test covers about communities, etc. HOD exceeded my expectations as far as covering all the bases!!! HTH! :D
