Hooray for a super first day!

I had to laugh at ds sorting the books into genres. Now that is something that would only happen with HOD students. They just know their stuff!

I even hear my sons talking about genres for free reading fun...
Middle ds: "I really loved
Tales from Dust River Gulch and
More Tales from Dust River Gulch. What should I read next?"
Oldest ds: "Well, those are from the humor genre, so you'd probably enjoy..."
Or, "Mom, I really love biographies and adventures, so can you get me some of those for my birthday? They're my favorite genre EVER!"
Gotta love those moments as homeschool moms, don't we? Glad your Colton gave you a moment like that too with his genre sorting, and even more glad he gave you a happy memory of your start to BHFHG!
In Christ,
Julie
