This year we are using Beyond Little Hearts with my 7 and 5 year old, we are all loving it. It is very easy to use and very well laid out. I started thinking about next year and I am wondering what to do, do I move to the next book (Bigger Hearts) with both of them? Do I just move to Bigger Hearts with my oldest (he will be 8 in June), do I have to re-do the entire year with my youngest (who will be 6 in May) or do I re-do the year again with both of them?? They have separate math and language arts but everything else we do together. I'm not sure where to go and what to do for next year....any suggestions??
Thanks in advance for any ideas or advice.
Blessings,
Laura
Where do I go next year?
Re: Where do I go next year?
I have a 7 and 5yo too. I have not done them together and won't. Did you do LHFHG with them? If your 5yo hasn't done LHFHG I might do that with them. I LOVE that level. It is by far my favorite so far.
I am no expert though.

Re: Where do I go next year?
Thanks for the reply. My 5 year old (6 in May) is a bit ahead of the curve (she reads) and I don't think she will be able to move down to LHFHG. She would hate re-learning letters and such. I'm just at a loss on what to do next year and I'm thinking I'll have to piece her year together instead of using HOD.

Glory2God,
You can do LHFHG and either do K or 1st grade options. The left side of guide is Learning thru History that includes history, science, art, Bible. The right side of guide is Learning the Basics that includes phonics, writing/fine motor, math, storytime and have options based on child's skills. It is such a delightful guide you do want to consider it. Tammy
