History

Post by keyjoh » Fri Nov 09, 2012 11:02 am

Hello,

I have looked at the scope and sequence chart but can anyone help with the flow of history?

I am looking for something that gives a list of dates for the time periods that are covered in history for every guide. What I am trying to figure out is if history is covered chronologically and if its on a 4 or 6yr rotation. I can't really tell by looking at the charts

Thanks!

LHFHG is an overview of all history. In Beyond and Bigger a narrower range of history is covered focusing mainly on American History. Beyond covers from 1565 to 1860. Bigger covers from 1500s to 1970s. Preparing is an overview of world history starting at creation and ending in modern times. CTC to MTMM is a 4 year history cycle. Here is a post where Carrie explains the flow of history in these 4 guides: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12733&p=91604& I will attempt to put some dates with this using the TOC, introductions, and when I have the book, the timeline cards. So the dates are only general guidelines and not necessarily accurate. (That's my legal disclaimer  )CTC starts at creation and goes until around 70-100 AD. RTR starts around 100 AD and ends around 1750 AD. Rev2Rev starts around mid-1700s through the early 1900s. MTMM covers from the 1890s to the present day. HTH! :D
