Half Time in Preparing, okay??

Post by DawnTay » Tue Nov 06, 2012 12:17 pm

It is my fist year homeschooling my ds who is 11. We have been doing preparing averaging around half time. I'm concerned that half time will put her behind. At what point does it all catch up? Should I be concerned or am I doing this all wrong? Please help! Any advise would be awesome!! BTW We are loving this program!

I'm sorry, I meant my dd, 11. Obviously new to all of this. :)

Hi DawnTay, and welcome to the HOD Board! :D Isn't PHFHG a neat guide? There is just so much there. :D I am wondering what unit you are in with dd in PHFHG, how long it is taking each day, and how dd is doing with the skills in it in general? :D That will help us figure out the best pacing for dd. Thanks! :D

When we started Preparing in August, we did half-speed for 4 weeks to get used to all the subjects, then we went to full speed.
