Hi all,
My son has been reading the extensions for Bigger and it really adds so much to his learning and retention. However, we read Ben and Me for our Biography and I don't think he would like to reread it for his extension book. Does anyone know of any good replacements?
Thanks,
Micah

No ideas? I guess I will just have to search the library. I'll post with what we end up doing for others who run into the same issue.

We used "Poor Richard" by James Daughtery. It is longer than "Ben and Me", but a good history of Ben Franklin. My 7 yr old son enjoyed it.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was wanting to know. I will check it out from the library and see if it looks like one my son can read.

Poor Richard is an extension book in Rev to Rev. Just wanted to let you know that in case you plan on keeping him doing the extensions. Plus since it is an extension in that guide I would think it might be a tough independent read for someone Bigger.

Hmm... Thanks for that, I didn't realize that.
I think I will check it out from the library and se what the reading level is like. On amazon some comments said it was an easy read???

Yes, sorry, since I am reading some of the extension books to my son I wasn't even thinking. I am not sure it would work for him to read, depending on his level. I am just reading some of the story books to my son because he loves the history so much and it is like another storytime to us.

Sounds like it won't work then. I put a bunch of books on hold at the library on Ben Franklin, hopefully one will work. Thanks for the responses though.
