Exploration Education Question (Rev2Rev)

Hi ladies!

I have a quick question...We're diving in to Rev2Rev tomorrow and I noticed that we will be keeping all the completed projects in this kit throughout the year to use in experiments. For those of you who have been through this curriculum, about how much space are we talking to keep these in "good working order" like is asked?? Space that allows something like this to be kept in "good working order" is at a premium at our house currently. It is occupied by markers, crayons, and scissors, too.

Kathleen I am glad you posted this. I had figured once we were done with say the racer then we were done with it and didn't need to make sure it was kept in good working order the entire year. Right now Noah has just built the racer (we are on week 6), but he also has a cup that sits by it because he has used that several times and the box of supplies that has to be readily available. I am thinking I will need to find at least half a shelf somewhere to keep everything he is making. I will be interested to see what others say.

Ladies,

You do need to hang on to the racer and on to the other models that are built, as the students are asked to pull several of them back out to use again later. With my second son, we ended up storing some of the models under my bed and the ones in continual use at the time on top of the fridge. :D Space is at a premium here too!

When my oldest son did the EE kit, we used a big drawer to hold his models which worked fine. However, by the time my second son was doing Rev2Rev, the drawers were full!

Blessings,
Carrie

Thanks Carrie! :D We put in a couple new cabinets this summer in the kitchen, so there might be room in there for some things. I was thinking on top of the kitchen cabinets. Under my bed could be a good option, too. Thanks for the ideas!

My friend hangs the glider from the ceiling on a hook. Other things go up on a shelf top.
