I noticed the teacher guide skips pages in Do it Carefully. Is this a missprint, does anyone know?

some of the ones you seem to skip are because there was something on the other side of the page that had to be cut out. I think was only one or two pages we didn't do from the books.

Hmm, well I'm seeing do pg 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, it skips all the odd numbered pages from 14-22 and there is no cutting on the odd pages. Im just having him double up on those days. I was wondering if maybe they have the kids go back to the skipped pages at some point but I cant find that in the plans.

I'm just trying to remember quick here, but was it because it was skipping a handwriting page? I think last year we skipped over the extra handwriting practice because we were already doing the scheduled pages in A Reason For Handwriting Book K. By doing those pages on top of the handwriting book, would have probably been a LOT of writing for the day. That would also keep with doing less writing but better quality, like Charlotte Mason advocated! :D Carrie always keeps such a nice balance of skills and activities each day within the guides!

Agreeing here with the the pp, the pages that not scheduled are handwriting pages. So essentially they're not necessary if you are doing another handwriting program, especially since the style is probably different than whatever you may already be using. HTH! I remember skipping those pages, I was tempted to do them, but ultimately I just followed the schedule on LHFHG.

Oh, ok, we will skip them then. Thank you for the clarification!
