Stories of the Pilgrims (older version)

I know there has been some talk about the Stories of the Pilgrims (used in Beyond). According to the Alternate Schedule posted on the HOD website, it is to be used with the 2007 edition of the book and the older 1991 version is the schedule listed in the Beyond manual. However, I believe that the schedule in the manual has been updated to the 2007 version.

So, what if you are using the 1991 version? Is there a schedule to use with the older version of this book? I've been trying to just wing it. (We are in Unit 5) But I see it getting harder and harder to coordinate. Any help with this would be great. Sorry if someone has already posted on this topic. I did do a search but didn't find the answer I was looking for.

Thanks!

We are using the 1991 edition and I have been able to coordinate by taking a quick look at the key idea for the day and checking it against the next chapter we have. Do you know if there were any differences between the editions besides page numbers?

Thanks! That's pretty much what we've been doing too. I have looked at the new edition. It seems to be pretty much the same without the nice color pictures.

We're in Unit 7, but when I have the chance I'll peek through and see if I can make the matches and mark it in the guide. I'll share when I do. ;)

BTW, was just browsing your blog, my 3rd grade boy is in Beyond too for many of the same reasons you wrote. We're adding a few extras to 'beef it up' as well. ;) There is richness I don't want to miss and just because they can do 'more' work doesn't necessarily mean it would be good for them in the long run.
