My son has dyslexia due to an auditory processing disorder. At 61/2 he was tested and found to be very deficient in auditory processing skills. I tried LHFHG at 5 yrs old, and he just wasn't ready. I tried again at 6 yrs old, and he still struggled with anything read aloud to him without pictures. I was encouraged on this board to keep pressing on, and today at 8 years old doing Beyond, I'm happy to report that he is great at listening and narrating. He has improved so much that the developmental specialist we saw today thought that he was an auditory learner. She said he listened so well and was able to follow directions that she couldn't tell he had any auditory processing issues. I proudly told her about HOD.
