Beyond memory verse

We are in our 3rd week in Beyond and the memory verse says 1 John 4:15-16a but the CD only has "God is Love" from verse 16. The memory verse in the book seems really long for this age but the CD seems really short. I also looked ahead and there are lots of times where the book gives 2-3 verses as that week's memory verse so that got me thinking that maybe the intent is for the student to learn what is on the CD. Anyone know for sure or have some ideas?

Okay ... showed some of the verses to my former public school K teacher hubby and he said they were not too long. I guess I am just used to the length of our AWANA verses at this age. Also for the last few years my older boys have been memorizing whole chapters with HOD so even though overall their memorization is longer their weekly verses were shorter. Maybe I was just a little off base after all

I always went with what the guide said, not the cd. We are in unit 26 now, HTH
