Do I need notebooks for CTC Geography?

Or is it in the Student Pages? I see there's a travel log and some mapping stuff, paragraph writing. I didn't see mention of needing notebooks in the into of CTC. Just thought I'd double check.

I use a one-inch binder for geography stuff. The geography book includes a CD rom with printable maps and travel log pages.

I have a question along these lines...Do you print out the blank maps from the CD-ROM or the ones that are already filled in. I see that the book suggests the students draw their own maps and fill in the locations, but I was going to at least start the year with using pre-printed maps (my boys aren't the best at drawing and it would just be a source of stress). Can you tell me which maps you pre-print and how you use these for the assignments?
Thanks!!!
Kim

The instructions in the Geography box of the CTC guide say to print both the blank and labeled maps, and have the student label the blank map according to the assigned "Map Notes" section for that day. The first one is a map of Turkey on Unit 2 Day 2, and A Child's Geography p. 13.
