Lovin' Rev to Rev

On Monday, we launched Rev to Rev. I can't even begin to tell you how much my oldest ds LOVES this guide! He has liked all the previous guides (PHFHG, CTC, RtoR), but he thinks this is the best one yet. :D :D Thanks Carrie & family for all that you sacrifice to provide such a Godly, tender learning experience for the rest of us! May God continue to give you clear vision, wisdom and encouragement as you lean on Him to write each guide!

For the youngest, I could not afford a new curriculum. So, we began reusing the one I used with the oldest - we were both miserable. FUNNY! My oldest came to me & said, "Mom, I know you never used Heart of Dakota when I was little, but you just have to for J. It is soooo much better...and for him, it would be so much more fun and Godly than ..." :D :D Well...how can I dispute a testimony like that?? As soon as God provides the funds, dh & I are determined to switch youngest to LHFHG. :D

My only regret is not finding HOD sooner!

Wow! I am sooo excited! So glad you'll soon be doing HOD with both your children. And I am looking forward to using the other guides too. :)

I think HOD is so perfectly balanced... plus Carrie has probably looked and researched every possible option/ book out there and picked her favorites. So we can all just benefit from her expertise... it almost doesn't seem right. Heh. Well, glowing reviews like yours help (and especially your sons' because prospective buyers will peruse this board and see it.

I know if I tried to put it all together I would have put FAR too many pages of each book in each day... and I wouldn't have come up with the cute ideas either. (I know, because ds hated my attempts at preschool. :( )

Hoping you'll be able to order soon for J.

Ooooooo, this was so fun to read - a little Sunday afternoon treat for me! :D :D :D It brought back great memories of Wyatt and me doing RevtoRev last year, as well as Emmett and I starting LHFHG last year! :D Also, that is just precious what your ds said about J getting to use HOD too - very loving and thoughtful. I just thought I'd mention that HOD would work with you on a payment plan if that is something that would help. Mike is very kind and easy to work with if you just give him a call! I know he'd talk through it with you so you could get started with J with LHFHG sooner. HTH! :D

In Christ,
Julie

I so agree! God blesses so many families through HOD. :D

Julie, I have read on the boards that Mike works with families who have a need - and am so thankful for all the families who are blessed in this way. My dh is not willing to do this, unless we can't find any way other way! :D
