We like using Keys for Kids. It's intended to be a family devotional and is a magazine style you get in the mail. Link removed per board rules by board moderator.

We've been using Long Story Short for a few months, too. I really like it. It's appropriate for a lot of ages, goes through the Bible chronologically, and they point each story to Jesus.
We used Keys for Kids all the time when I was growing up.

We've been using this for our morning together Bible study for several months, and I just LOVE it! It's short (only 10 mins or so), but meaty. Plus you are actually in the Word each day.BGBC wrote:I just bought and received Long Story Short. I haven't used it but it looks soooooo good!very God and Gospel centered!
Blessings,

I don't know how old your children are, but a good one for littler ones (even up to 10 or so), would be Leading Little Ones to God. Lots of basic Bible learning and talks about salvation, and principles of godly living. A good place to start with younger ones.
We've used:
Leading Little Ones to God
Training Hearts Teaching Minds
Mighty Acts of God
Stories with the Millers (there are quite a few in the series)
Building on the Rock series of books
These are just some that are coming to mind, but we always followed them up with Scripture reading and verse memory. That probably sounds time consuming, but it really only takes a few minutes.
Hope that helps! Blessings on your Bible studies!

Thank you all! I have so many to choose from:)
Yes, we have done Leading Little Ones to God. It' s a keeper! I'll bring it back in a couple of years. I gained so much from that myself.

I also like Long Story Short. Also, we have used a number of Star Meade's resources. In addition, you might look at Susan Hunt's resources. : )
