Congrats HOD!!!
Even though I haven't offically started with HOD yet (end of August), I was thrilled to see that HOD was chosen as one of Cathy Duffy's Top 101 Picks in her new book : ) I originally found HOD through Cathy Duffy's website where she had chosen DITHR as a top pick. I know Carrie's & Julie's family work so hard, it's nice to see this recognition. CONGRATULATIONS!! I am so excited to start BHFHG & DITHR in August!

I know when we were 1st homeschooling, I had several friends also starting out, and they wouldn't use anything that wasn't one of Cathy Duffy's top picks. I tried to tell them that Cathy just must not have picked up the guide(s) yet, because I was quite sure they're the BEST thing out there...

Just wanted to add.....Rod and Staff's English series was also in there. Along with A Reason for Handwriting, and of course Dithor and Singapore math was already in her 100 picks. (I'm sure there are more HOD recommended books in there, but I just happened to see these at a quick glance).

I've read many of Cathy Duffy's recommendations before and I know a lot of people base their curriculum decisions on what she has to say about them in her 100 top picks. This is so good for HOD and for all the people out there that will find out about it!

I am so pleased to hear this! It is well deserved recognition. I never really read the first one but I have friends that would give more weight to Cathy Duffy than to little ol' me.
