So I had my whole year planned, and now I have to change it!!! My plan was to do R to R with my 10th grader and preparing with my 10 year old and now I have just lost my job and so I have no budget to order my books. I am so very sad :( The only thing I can do is put my 10 year old in Beyond with my 8 year old daughter. My question is how do I beef it up enough where he is getting what he need? And I just have no idea what I will use for my 10th grader. My heart is with hod and nothing else really measures up!!!!

Thank You, My at home day care was my only source of income right now. I have to trust in the Lord that he will provide our needs<3

I am so sorry to hear this! Ordering just the Economy Package is a great way to be able to do quite a lot of the guide. I wanted to share this thread in case it may be helpful...

Here is a great thread where Carrie explains how you could beef up Beyond for a fourth grader...

We have had to get creative in the past to be able to afford to homeschool as well. Here are some of the ideas I shared in a previous thread...
We've raised extra funds by selling clothing or toys at Once Upon a Child, selling furniture at consignment stores, selling clothing at consignment stores, having a rummage sale, caring for people's pets when they are out of town, watching another family's dc for an afternoon a week, tutoring a child or some children in our own home once a week, or going without something for a week (i.e. cheaper meals, no cable tv, etc.).

I know Tansy has some great ideas for saving as well, but I cannot find that thread! If someone does, please link it! :D HTH!

In Christ,
Julie
