Hi Ladies,

Well after much help from you, much research, and much prayer, I have decided to go with LHTH for my 4 yo and LHFHG for my 6 yo. Now I need some more help, please.

I have been doing Bible, phonics, and math with my 6 yo 3-4 days a week for about the last year now. He is very set in the routine and really doesn't like to add to it. So, any suggestions how how to make the transition into more "school" go well?

Also, can anyone using LHTH and LHFHG, share there schedule with me. Or give me ideas of what one of your chldren do while you are doing school with the other? My 4 yo is good at keeping busy while I work with my 6yo but my 6yo just wants to sit and watch movies while I work with my 4yo, and I don't want him to do this.

Also, right now we do our Bible while they are eating breakfast and read our chapter book while they are eating lunch. Now with two Bible stories, two different bible devo. and the other things to read, how can I fit it all in?

I know some of you are running 3-5 guides are probably laughing at me, that's fine, I am laughing too, but all of a sudden I do feel a little overwhelmed. If it helps any, I also have a 9th grader to HS, too!

Thank you ladies for any help you can offer.

These are the same guide we did last year and it worked out very well. I don't have a ton of time at the moment to respond so feel free to ask specific questions.

My youngest was 3 and my two oldest were 5 and 6(turned 7 in Jan) when we did them. LHTH takes all of 30-40 min so while the olders were doing their chores and then playing quietly together I would do all of LHTH with ydd. Then the other two would join us for LHFHG. She ydd tagged along for most things but any table work and I would have other things for her to do. We use a different math program but other than that I did both guides as written and from start to finish it took about 2.5-3 hours.

Hope this helps!

P.S. Like I said, I'd be happy to go into more detail if you have specific questions for me
