Bigger - schedule of books

I am planning to do Bigger this year and this will be our first year with HOD. I need to know, if I borrow some of the science and history selections from the library, is there something in the guide that tells me which book I will need on which days or weeks, so that I can coordinate with the library? I have found that several of the books are available at our library, but I will need to know which book I will need at each point in the program and for how long.

The Guide has everything listed but unit x day x in boxes for different subjects you can see the first week of the guide on the HOD website; but from what I can tell that is the only breakdown of when books are used...I haven't actually gone through Bigger (we will be doing it this year as well) but our box came yesterday and I have been looking through it and haven't seen anything else...but you could easily go through and read the boxes and be able to determine what books you needed when - our local library has not been any help when it comes to actually having the books they are always willing to request them but it might be six months before it comes...

For History - A First Book in American History, Stories of Great Americans, and Journeys in Time are all used throughout the program. In my opinion, it wouldn't be worth getting these from the library. The Story of the Wright Brothers and their Sister is used starting in Unit 28 - Unit 32.

Science - Each book is used in the order is which they are listed in the catalog. Except for One Small Square - Woods; you do use that one a couple times randomly throughout for the students to do a notebooking page that relates to what they are learning.

Science in Colonial America - Unit 5, Day 3 - Unit 9
John Audubon - Unit 10 - Unit 14
One Small Square - Woods: Unit 15 - Unit 18
A Pioneer Sampler - Unit 20 - Unit 31, Day 2
Thomas Edison - Unit 31, Day 3 - Unit 34
