HI! My name is Becky and this is my first year homeschooling! I have been married to my wonderful husband for 5 1/2 years (6 in December). And we have 3 boys ages 4 (5 on Sept.4),2 and six months!! We have decided to use HOD this year and will be using LHFHG. At first I wasn't sure in which grade to place my son because of his birthday. We live in Alabama so the cut of day for public school is September 2nd- DS1 will be 5 on September 4th!! He also went to k3 (because of his bday ) in a christian school this past year and did phenonmenal! So I spoke with an HOD rep. and he suggested that DS1 should do wonderfully in LHFHG .
I'm so eager to get started! But we have decided to follow the local public school's schedule (I know that there are a lot who wouldn't agree with that) to make our lives simpler. So we will begin on August 20th!!
I was wondering if anyone has a blog that posts about LHFHG? I love seeing how other's organize and utilize the material. I would also love it for encouragment, to keep burn out away! LOL

I have blogged about some of the activities we've done in LHFHG, though it had nothing to do with organization. Honestly, I just "opened and went" with the open and go guide. Mine blog has snapshots of what we've done throughout the year though. The blog is in my signature below. Once you get there, there is a "what do you want to read about" menu on the right side, a little down the page, and you can click on Little Hearts For His Glory (or Little Hands to Heaven if you're so inclined).
