Doing a HOD Co op?

I will be starting CTC with a friend and we want to put together a little co op for our kids. We will be doing CTC. Are there any ideas as to how to do a co op with HOD?
We were thinking of getting the Biology 101 and watching that together (Carrie had recommended that to up the science for our kids) and than possibly do the experiments out of Land Animals. I really want this to be fun for them but also solidifying what we have learned during the week.
Any ideas would be greatly helpful as this is our first year doing HOD.
