Preparing is THE BOMB!!

I just have to say that we are on week 2 of Preparing, and the kids and I LOVE IT SOOOOOOO Much!!! I am learning more than I ever thought possible!! I had "warned" them that this guide was going to make them step up to the plate in their work load, but they don't feel that way at all. They are loving the material and loving the challenge!

Even cooler is that one of them is off the charts smart and one has mild learning disabilities. And they are BOTH just LOVING it. "Can we PLEASE do history first???" That is what I hear every morning. SO we do the "Guide" even on Saturday. I have to make them take Sunday off : )

And my 6 year old, who is in LHFHG want to listen in to history as much as possible. It is just so darn interesting!!

Yay to Carrie, Julie, and Mike for Pulling off what has to be the greatest curriculum of all time!!

Preparing was one of my FAVORITES! I learned so much right along with my ds. Grandpa's Box is just tremendous! You are in for a really great year.

Oh, please consider sharing these thoughts on the homeschool reviews site! Julie started a thread recently about sharing our HOD year over there on that site, so others can see how wonderfully it can work in their home. I went over there to see what's been written lately. The first review I read under Complete Curriculum, Heart of Dakota, was a negative review on Preparing and it just made my heart sink! I so enjoyed Preparing with my son, and am looking forward to it again in the fall with my next son!

When we find something so wonderful, like HOD, it's hard not to want everyone to use it and enjoy it as much as we do!

Just wanted to thank you for posting this, as it's so refreshing to hear how well it is working in your home, too!
