Please help me understand.
In measuring the planets and the Sun to scale, how can the Sun be 140 mm., Jupiter be 143 mm., and even Saturn 125 mm? The Sun is far bigger than the planets. Is there a correction for this? I can't have my son make Jupiter bigger than the sun. We are trying to draw them. Also the NASA planets website given does not come up for me. Must be old? Any replacement ideas for coloring planets?
Thank you,

Here's a pretty cool video. Can't help with the measurments, but if the link doesn't work. This might be a pretty cool alternative. Link removed by board moderator per board rules.
