We finished Bigger, and I am still on Realistic fiction! I was planning on reading the Ordinary Princess for the Folk Tale, but we finished the guide. Should I incorportae it as a night time read aloud? I am DEFINITELY finishing a little princess!!

I would either read it at bedtime or save it for a DITHOR selection. Some of the books we didn't get to in Bigger are DITHOR selections now...

Same here! I just told DD that Ordinary Princess could be her first book for the summer reading program the kids do at the library.

I just received my order for BIGGER recently (starting in Aug) **Yeah!** It's my first year with HOD, so I was looking over everything. I started reading "The Ordinary Princess" and couldn't put it down : ) I told my daughter she should read it for her book club she is in & we will use it for DITHOR (I will pick another folk tale for read aloud!).

We actually finished our Bigger curriculum last week except for reading The Ordinary Princess and some math. So we have read it this week and absolutely love it! I would definitely not skip it completely because it is such sweet love story told in a manner totally appropriate for young hearts. My girls (7 and 5) and even my son (9) has enjoyed it. Another great book selection from HOD
