I love it, it's going to be my favorite read for a while, carrying it everywhere I go

I love the overview of each subject area. I so wish I didn't jump the gun in buying my K curriculum a year or 2 ahead of time...I am learning...just a new homeschooling mom who wants to buy everything. I do think this will be a better fit for me...easy to use, hands on stuff but not too much. And I'll use the books/cds from MFW that I like to add to it. I'll be switching curriculum in grade 1 but finishing up phonics using MFW since I already have grade 1.
I am really anxious to start LHTH with my kids...maybe if we finish up the projects that we have planned this summer, we'll start it early.

Juli, I am still that lil Sonic the Hedgehog that is tapping his foot in anticipation!! Hehe!!

My mail man has not passed yet today so I still hope. If it doesn't show up it will be a loooooong wait till Monday!
You know I have MFW-K cuz Hannah is still so young. We will be done with LHTH very soon as we do each week's lessons in 2 days. I have been just re-reading the stories for a few days in order to make it last. But when she is done with Lil Hands I don't think she will be mature enough for Lil Hearts. MFW-K looks like a good between step for us.
What surprises me, even after raising 3 other kiddos, is that she is at a stage where each and every day she shows that she knows more than we thought! Hannah's ability to answer questions and ask them, evaluate, etc, just shocks me. And everywhere we go she reads all the letters: Walmart buggy handle, sides of boxes, tags on shoes, everywhere. It shouldn't surprise me , really. She is just normal. I have just forgotten how quick they mature at this age!!
Anyway, if she jumps quicker than I figure, like being ready for Lil Hearts by 4 instead of 5, I will just combine the science in MFW with the rest of Lil Hearts and take it slow. You may be able to do something like that?
SIGH....where is that mail man??????

Oh I love the catalog. They did a great job explaining each curriculum. I actually got two catalogs and I can't wait to share them. I will be taking them to our local Charlotte Mason meetings in September hopefully, unless my baby comes before then! I am so impressed with all the programs that I'm so excited. We will be using Beyond Little Hearts for His Glory next year after using LHFHG this year! I just love this curriculum and I'm glad I don't have to shop around at all.

Oh Ladies, I'm so excited that you are loving your catalogs! They should be coming to the rest of you, as I believe they all shipped at once. We had a pre-sort company mail them out as there were thousands!
I can't wait until they're in all of your hands.

I may be more excited than all of you are!
Blessings,
Carrie

I got mine today in Arizona!
It is FANTASTIC! I love that I can read the reason behind all these programs and why Carrie, you chose to do what you did.
I love that I can see samples in there and I love that I can see what comes next year so that I don't stress about whether it is enough/am I missing anything. Because that I can see the scope and sequence of the following years, I can be relaxed knowing what does come next!
Thanks Carrie!!! Awesome catalog!
I have to add in my "edit" that I'm bummed I found about this too late to use Little Hearts....that would have been a great beginning for us since I never found much of a curriculum for that level.

But I love the "reason" for history that is discussed in the samples and how history began. Wondering if it's worth adding to what we're doing for better understanding of history.

mmmmm. Anyone?
