We're basically "babes" in the HOD world but we've used LHTH, LHFHG, and Beyond so far and plan to continue on as long as Carrie keeps providing programs.

It is the only curriculum we've used. I didn't start our oldest DS in it until Little Hearts because we had just taken an informal approach up to that point. But I did start our DD in LHTH at age 4 and will probably do the same for our youngest DS. So yeah, it's all we/they have known. So I guess a total of 2 years so far. Still loving it!

It's all we've used as far as formal curriculum and not just "fun stuff" we have other science kits and we've done random lapbooks and unit studies for informal fun learning.

We've used solely HOD from 2nd to now 6th grade this fall. There were things I wanted to add in and yet, never got to (not b/c HOD was too much, but b/c well...I wasn't motivated b/c HOD was enough!). I've used ALL the levels from LHTH up to unit 2 of CTC now, but oldest is the original HOD child, starting in 2nd grade with Beyond. I intend to add in the Latin stuff in my siggy this summer or fall...b/c I just love languages. And the virtues thing is our family Bible time so that I can keep the HOD bible time on level and one-on-one.

Prior to discovering HOD I used the MFW kindergarten curriculum. After finding HOD I quit before finishing because I knew we were "home." I have never looked back. I have used LHTH through unit 9 of Bigger.

I've used it for the last 4 years, Beyond, Bigger, Preparing, and now CTC with ds. Used LHTH and now LHFHG with dd. Never will consider another program as long as I can help it!

My ds came home from ps after 4th grade and we started with Preparing and I have never even considered another curriculum. We have used Preparing, CTC, finish RTR tomorrow, and then next year on to Rev to Rev. My ds loves every HOD program we have done. In fact tomorrow he will be sad to finish the guide. We do use another math other than Singapore. He does complain about math at times, so it isn't that he likes school no matter what. I am pretty sure if I told him we weren't going to use HOD anymore I would have a major mutiny on my hands. Unfortunately my dd didn't come home until 10th grade so I couldn't use HOD with her. Putting everything together for her each year makes me appreciate HOD all the more.

We've used LHFHG and almost finished with Beyond. I have all I need to begin Bigger in August. I can't imagine using just part of a guide. As long as we can, we will not substitute any subjects. It just would not seem complete.

Yes, with ds we have used Bigger, Preparing, CTC, RTR and just started Rev to Rev. With my dd we have used LHFHG, Beyond and just started Bigger for the second go round . I wouldn't think of using anything else. I even just placed my order for MMtM so I wouldn't miss the discount even though we just started Rev to Rev three weeks ago. That's how confident I am about the program

We've used LHTH, LHFHG, Beyond and Bigger the past 3 years with my oldest two kiddos. We strayed a few months at the beginning of this year to FIAR and then Sonlight in hopes of combining my oldest 2. But I realized it is best to have them each at their own level and I love the spiritual growth/talks we have with HOD. We're with HOD to stay.

We do. We use HOD as-is and completely, and couldn't be happier! 4 1/2 years in our house.

Our oldest went to a small Christian school for K and 1st, then we brought him home for 2nd grade. I used some things given to be by friends that year...and decided to order something for my preschooler. God brought HOD to mind from a long-ago book fair. When I found LHTH, I noticed that they had programs for my oldest, too!! We started Bigger with him the next fall and have been here ever since. So, we've now used all the guides from LHTH through RTR. HOD is God's answer to our prayer for how to school and disciple our kids at home.

That would be us. We've completed LHFHG, BLHFHG, BHFHG, and in the fall we'll be doing Preparing. We're very happy with HOD.

We've been using it for 4 years and have used 7 HOD programs plus now DITHR. Four of those we have used twice. We love HOD and will be using it until all our kids are done with high school. Can confidently say we are not going to use anything else. So I guess you could say we are exclusive HOD users.

we've been using HOD for 3 1/2 years now. Once my oldest hit high school we began to use other materials and opportunities to beef-up his high school curricula. My 7 yo daughter who started in the first guide has used other material in between guides. My 2 middle sons have exclusively used HOD since we began. We do, of course, enjoy doing other things on their 5th day of the week, but not because I feel they "need" it. We just enjoy it!

We've used Beyond, Bigger, and Preparing exclusively. HOD fits our family so well and makes our schooling so enjoyable. I have no plans to change to something else and no desire to even look at anything else.
