I have noticed that the memory verses in my bible are different from HOD. I normally use NKJV. Can someone tell me which bible version HOD uses?
Thanks

I don't have much of an answer for you, but because there are often several Bibles to select from, it may depend on that particular Bible. NIV is pretty common these days, but I can't say for sure that is translation you are using. Which Bible are you using and which level is it for?

Annie,
One of my favorite aspects to HOD is that you truly can choose the version YOU want! In the bible box it tells you the address of the verse you will be memorizing. Carrie, doesn't write out the verse for you. We do a cross between NIV and NLT

Annie,
I can't remember which program you're using...but I know that the memory verses that are sung on the Hide 'Em In Your Heart CD are in NIV.

I'm not sure about the first cd, but the CD used in Beyond has some verses from NIV, NCV, NLT and NKJV. I haven't looked at Bigger yet to see what is used.

Ladies,
You are all right! HOD doesn't use a specific version of the Bible in our guides, leaving that up to you!
However, the Hide Em in Your Heart CD's use a variety of Bible versions, which we overlook at our house 'cause we love Steve Green (and no one makes memorizing easier than he does)!
For "Bigger..." there is no sing-along to the Bible verses, as we do hymns, so the version doesn't come up there.
In "Preparing..." we are using a King James version of the Psalms, because it is more lyrical and lends itself better to memorizing the Psalms.
Blessings,
Carrie
