Timeline Book?

We made a timeline for Beyond and have been tracking all the assigned events on it this year and it always gets a "yay!" from DS when it's time to do it.

But I know that a timeline will be used in Bigger so I was wondering what you thought about getting a timeline book to keep and use throughout all the HOD programs so that all the events are kept in one place - an ongoing project per se. I don't know how the levels above Bigger work so I don't know if this is a viable idea or not. Thoughts?

In Preparing you make either a staircase timeline on a door or an accordian style timeline. I think using a book would be tough because it is an overview of world history so you would end up with a lot of gaps. My ds made the door style, but my dh actually made it out of formboard and my ds still loves to get it out and look at it. For CTC up through MTMM the timeline is at the top of the beautiful notebooking pages so you actually do end up with a keepsake of the timeline plus the notebooking pages. I will put all the notebooking pages together in one big notebook when he finishes MTMM. They draw their own pictures and write the event and dates on this timeline so it seems to mean more to them than say gluing down a premade picture of someone.
