I think I've read every posts, some several times, wanting to suck everything I can out of and from HOD wisdom. I come here sometimes to be very disappointed when there are no new posts!!! Is there anyone else out there like me who want to talk HOD ALL.DAY.LONG! LOL

I'm so glad that you are excited about HOD! This board is a very deep board, with almost 11,000 topics all related to HOD... so you can read to your heart's content! One thing you'll notice about the HOD board is that you won't find as much traffic here during school hours as most of us are teaching then. I've found in the past years when I used to read other boards that I often wondered how they could be so active during school hours, as it left me wondering when the posters were doing their teaching!

You'll also notice that we try very hard to stay on topic here, which results in fewer posts but the posts are all on topic (which makes each one worth reading)!

We pray you will enjoy the board, and we look forward to sharing the HOD journey with you through the board!

Oh I certainly understand. My post was mainly tongue-in-cheek I certainly don't have the time to sit in front of the screen all day long myself. But I do love it when a new topic appears, especially when it pertains to the path we are taking next year!

I get your tonuge and cheek comment. I LOVE reading the threads....But I am thankful that they are not soooooo overwhelming that I can not keep up.

Ah! I get it now! So glad that you are enjoying the board and reading new threads. The ladies have much wisdom to share, and I'm grateful to see their thoughts too.

Tiffanie, I completely understand. I think the board might be a little slower, because for some of us the school year is wrapping up, and the weather is getting nicer. Everyone is probably a little busier right now with the end of school year sports activities, dance and music recitals and testing. I know we are busier than usual right now. Have you looked at future guides online? That is always fun. Also, reading about HOD philosophy or more about Charlotte Mason might fill the void until things start to pick-up again.

I like the idea of reading up on some CM:-) It is definitely the end of the school year here. Busy busy busy! So glad the weather is getting nicer. We all want to play outside more and are looking forward to the summer months.
