Hi,
I recently got our box for CTC and have been reading through the TM and the DITHOR TM. I just realized that with DITHOR only scheduled for 3 days/week in CTC, that we would only complete 5 genres in a school year. Are there other ways that some of you get through all 9 genres in a year? I'm curious what our options are or if we should be happy to get through 5.

I believe the idea is to finish 5 genres each year starting in Preparing and then the next couple of guides for sure. So you would pick 5 to do this year then do the remaining 4 next year plus maybe pick a favorite to repeat? This is our plan and is working great so far! This allows for something else on the other day (in Preparing it is for creative writing, but I can not remember for CTC what the other day is, maybe writing as well?)..then you have day 5 completely free for whatever you want to do. As a side not if you realllly just want to do all 9 genres this year, you would need to do 1 day of Dithor for 5 days each week! That is how it is scheduled for Bigger...

Yes you make it through 5 one year and 4 the next. This is nice because then the student book lasts for 2 years.
