Is this okay for a written narration?

My dd is 9 and this is her first written narration:

Noah went into the ark with his three sons and their wives and two of every kind of animal. God shut the door of the ark. While Noah and his family and all of the animals were in the ark, God sent rain and made the water from the oceans come up for forty days and 40 nights. After 40 days and forty nights passed, Noah sent out a dove. The dove returned with nothing. Noah waited one week to send out the dove again. The dove Noah had sent out came back again, but this time with an Olive twig.

Is this on par with other 4th graders? Thanks for looking!

That is much better than what my 9 year old son came up with when we did that lesson a few weeks ago!
She did a GREAT job!!
