We just started...not only in the middle of a year but in the middle of the week! So not true to my personality! lol

The kids were just so excited when everything came so we just dove right in!

So, oldest is doing Bigger with DITHOR 2, finishing up R&S2, working on cursive, Singapore 2B
Middle is doing Beyond with Emerging Readers and Singapore 2A
Youngest girl is doing Little Hearts half-speed with K options.

Day 2 and so far so good.

My favorite part, which I had anticipated, was getting the one-on-one time cuddling on the couch doing work together!

What a great start - how exciting! HOD is so open and go you really can just get your things in the mail and start. It's a good thing too, as when moms and dc see all those amazing books, it is t-o-u-g-h to wait to start! Congrats on your good start!

Yea for you and your kiddo's. I love the fact that you can start HOD any time of the year, and day of the week . And I have learned over the years that taking summer break and picking back up where you left off works wonderfully....

Yay! So glad you took the plunge, Melissa! We're on week 26 of Beyond and LOVE it. Can't wait to start Bigger in mid-August.

I'm so glad that you started! How fun to go against the grain and just dive right in! I am a huge planner by nature, but I also just dived right in to Preaparing Hearts the day after we finished Bigger with my third little guy. It went so much better than I expected.
