by accident i asked this question under the wrong heading. But anyway for English is the teachers manual essential for the workbook? I am new to this.. thanks

In answer to your question, for Rod and Staff English 2 we find the manual to be optional. For English 3, it is very helpful to have the manual and to use the oral review questions at the beginning of each lessons from the manual. For English 4 on up, we find the Teacher's Manual to be essential.
