I started Little Hearts last week with Lance (and we are loving it). I thought I'd share how my 12 year old dd enjoyed the Thornton Burgess books so much that she asked if I could buy more titles in the series.

There are several additional titles available for free for Kindle through Amazon.

Yes, Kindle is good, but there is nothing like holding a book in your hand.
Just my 2 cents.

I agree! I recently got a NOOK and I just can't really get into reading on it. IDK there is just something about having a book in my hands.

Wow thanks for sharing this. I didn't realize that there were so many others that we don't yet have. Love these books.

While I am a book girl myself, I did break down and buy a Kindle and have downloaded all of the free T.Burgess books I found because my 7yo dd LOVES to read them! The benefit to the Kindle is that I ALWAYS have it in my purse so where ever we are (we are always sitting and waiting for someone's lessons, meeting, etc.) there is something for someone to read aloud, silently, etc. Beats carting a ton of books in the car/store/church etc.

Ooh thanks for telling me they are free on Kindle. I got one for Christmas and it has surprised me how much I like reading on it. I figured out how to get library books on it and so my DD can read those (I buy the ones we really love). But I hadn't yet found free books for her, nearly as many as I have for myself. There are so many great classic Christian books for free, public domain now, and things I don't know if I would have read otherwise.
