This is the second time we've done this experiment, and the second time that nothing has happened. I do not know what I might be doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Ours didn't work very well either. I figured it was because we put too much oil in the water. DS accidently squeezed the dropper too hard and put in a whole dropper full of oil instead of 5-6 drops.
