Just when I think he is not paying attention...

My strong-willed, extremely hyper, jittery, and all-over-the-place son starts blending words, after so many days that I felt like he was never going to get it. AND, tonight, he reminded me that, "We did not read Reddy Fox today!" Oh no! We were so busy, I totally forgot about it today. He said, "Mom, that means we have to do 2 tomorrow." I'm SO happy to hear this b/c sometimes you wonder how much they enjoy it, or are paying attention to their first experience with a non-picture book! I love it! This program is so wonderful. We had the BEST time talking about snakes today, even though I was totally grossed out. He loves snakes and frogs, so the past few days have been great. I love how much he's absorbing, even if he doesn't always act like it!

So happy for you. My middle child is a lot like your son. Some times I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. Then all of a sudden she just gets it. At least it's never boring! Hope you guys have a great tomarrow.

This is so true, isn't it! :D Those little ones often surprise us with their knowledge when we least expect it! :D

My little one just realized that Reddy Fox is also in his Peter Cottontail book (which is the second storytime book in LHFHG). He had such a look of wonder as he connected the characters in the two books. I love moments like that! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
