HOD is the PERFECT curriculum for our family!

Hello Everyone!
I never have time to post here, or check the message board very often but I LOVE the fact that it is here and I can go anytime of day to research my questions, get encouragement or just giggle at all the same exact situations I've experienced!! So basically I'm just a "creeper" lol
But today I am inspired to put up a post just to share how much HOD has blessed our family and how awesome our Lord is to show us this curriculum from the start of our homeschooling journey. I am about to start my 3rd year of using HOD, we started my oldest in LHFHG, she just completed BLHFHG and I just got all my books to start Bigger on Saturday! So excited! My 5 year old is slowly doing LHTF using the K options from LHFHG but I'm not overwhelming her with tons of school, just enough for it to be fun and learn the basics I don't like how PS these days are pushing the little ones into so much school so early, just my opinion but now I digress!
My point is HOD is so easy to use, I have 4 young kids so to have open and go curriculum is SO important for me and honestly I love that I don't have to think about it. I know my daughter is getting everything she needs PLUS having a blast while I'm truly enjoying teaching her
My other word of encouragement is that my dh and I have made the decision to move out further from the cities, possibly become "warm weather" folk (we want to travel across the south during the cold MN winters) and for our goals to become a reality it is more financially viable for me to go back to work full time, I've been working since mid-oct and will probably work for a year til oct 2012. My husband's strange schedule allows for our kiddos to be home with him most days and with grandma on the days he needs to work. BUT we have been so happy (ecstatic really) that our homeschooling is right on track with husband and grandma picking up the homeschooling ball! They help me with all the math, reading, writing and basic stuff where I fill in the fun charlotte mason stuff on the weekends and evenings. I'm dreaming of the day when I can be done and back home starting in Oct but for now I am SOO blessed that we can continue with our convictions of homeschooling and keeping our kiddos home and still give them the best quality education even though I'm gone 40 hours a week!
Thank you Carrie and her family for all the hard work and dedication giving us homeschooling families a wonderful curriculum to turn to, awesome shipping service (I'm pretty close to them but ordering on Sat. and getting it by Tues, amazing!) and just a great community of other families using HOD and loving it!
I don't know if this helps anyone else out there but I just had to share!
Blessings,
Heather
