My daughter Grace I mean She's been asking a lot of questions regarding salvation (in her own words, not really saying salvation). But we were on the day of Beyond today where they make the heart and the whole day is really focused on salvation. She asked DH a few minutes ago (out of the blue, but I had warned him ) "When can I pray for God to change my heart?"

So pray for her as God works in her and pray for us that God would speak through us to her.

I have just prayed for your dear Grace! Now THIS is what life is all about - very exciting - very mountain-top - very life-changing, forever. May the Lord continue to work in Grace's heart - and my dc's too, each and every day.

Awww... I said a prayer for her heart, for God to draw her to Himself.

Praying for Grace that she would believe and receive salvation through Christ.

We lift up prayers for Grace today that the Lord work in her heart and all of our hearts each day and that she have salvation on Him.

She was asking more today... said that she prayed for God to make her heart perfect, but she had no concept of Jesus being connected with that prayer. So we had a discussion about salvation (dh is way better at that than I am and he talked with her) but she's such an introvert that we will have to wait a while for her to process it and think... then she'll come up in the middle of something else when no one else is listening and talk more. We will not be able to make eye contact during this conversation or it will end.

She's getting there... God is getting her there. Thanks for the prayers!

How wonderful! I have prayed and look forward to hearing more of her story.

Grace accepted Christ this week! She prayed last Sunday night for God to "make her heart perfect," dh talked to her last week and it didn't seem like she was making the connection between God, her sins, and Jesus... she knew it all separately, but wasn't connecting them at all.

So he talked to her yesterday where she didn't actually have to look at him, which is very good for our introverted little goosie He said he really feels like she is there... she was confused about a couple of things, but they talked through it and she understood...

now comes the big challenge. Jayden isn't there yet. She has all the head knowledge, but not the heart understanding. She has not been convicted yet. I am praying that God protects her heart (and honestly, convicts her) before Grace gets baptized. We haven't talked to Grace specifically about her being baptized yet.... DH is going to do that in the next couple of days.... so we don't know when it'll be. Dh is going to talk to Jayden before he talks to Grace, now that he's experienced what it is like to be as sure of a child's salvation as you can be. It's also been almost a year since we discussed Jayden's salvation (or not) with her.... we didn't feel she was there when we did talk to her, and she hadn't shown any fruit. She has started showing now that she knows when she does something wrong, even though it's through denial, it's still there. So maybe God is working in her already.

So keep praying
1.) for Jayden's heart
2.) for protecting Jayden's heart if she isn't ready yet

Praise the Lord for Grace accepting Christ! That is such wonderful news. I will be praying for Jayden now as well as your dh talks with her that she too can come to fully accept everything that Christ has done for her and accept Him as Lord and Savior of her life. Then maybe you will have a double baptism in the near future.

And more updates...

DH talked to Jayden today... she said she has accepted Christ as well, and she answered everything he asked with only a few misunderstandings.

He/we will be talking to them sometime in the next couple of days regarding baptism

I truly thank HOD, especially for Grace's salvation. It was totally the dirty heart/clean heart project in Beyond that made it all click with her. Jayden's a bit different and hard to figure out sometimes, so I think it was just life in general and God in specific that "got" her. I'm excited to walk through LHFHG and Beyond with Julianna and see how they touch her! Evie too, but she's got a while, haha.
