Ds 6 is so excited today, he completed LHFHG! When I told him last week that he had 1 week left in LHFHG he pursed his lips and made a sad face. :( Than, I told him that he can start BLHFHG and he was super excited :D :P :D . He wanted to see it, not really realizing we had been using it for math and ER. He was totally filled with joy when he found out that he will have more history, geography, spelling and all the subjects big brother and big "sister" have. Especially geography. :?:
When we finish a guide in our home we have "Family Fun Night" and he will get to pick out the meal we make and the games we play :P
We will have a little winter sport vacation coming up and will start when we return the end of February.
Thank you Carrie for another great guide and doing it the second time around was even more of a blessing to teach. I also want to thank Julie and all the other Mom's I learn from here on the HOD board. :D
This must have been our most favorite Rhyme in Motion.....Even little sis sings this all day.

What a blessing! I just love the video that you shared. My daughter absolutely loves the rhymes, and I have no doubt that she (and her brothers who hear them every day) will never forget them. Every week she insists on starting from Adam and Eve at the beginning and saying them all in a row. :D

Congrats on finishing the guide!

What a great video. You're son is adorable and so full of energy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember how much my kids loved doing that rhyme in motion. Congratulations on finishing LHFHG. On to Beyond, where the learning continues with lots of fun along the way.

My daughter is asking me to add some smilies... 8) :D

I LOVED your ds's rousing rendition of the fingerplay! :D I just had my dh come watch it too - what fun! :D I do believe there may be a future in the music industry for your sweet son. Congratulations on finishing LHFHG - that is worth celebrating. Thank you for the thank you, and here's one for you - thank you for your encouragement and wise words of counsel on this board. It is much appreciated! Have a relaxing winter holiday, and I'm so glad you enjoyed LHFHG. :D

In Christ,
Julie

Ladies thank you for your blessings and Julie, I'm glad the Lord can use me to be an encouragement. We had our celebration with wings and "Hide and Seek in the dark" and ds can't wait till we start BLHFHG. Now the planning and set up of a new schedule can begin. :D :D

That video was just precious! We are only in week 11 of LHFHG, but my DD loves it as well. :)
