Last night I was reading the Bible story assigned (at least I think it is assigned) in LHTH to Hannah. It was about crossing on dry land with the ark of covenant. She looked at the ark and asked, "Whats that? A boat?????" It was so precious. Of course I had to explain that this was a different sort of ark.

Y'all, my dh has been able to work for about a week now. It hurts him very much to do so, but he is trying to hang in there. We have been wanting to go to Ken Ham's Creation Museum. If dh is able to hold out we will. Wouldn't it be cool for Hannah to see the *ark* in real life!!! What a reinforcement of the Creation story, and more, that would be!! She would actually be able to understand more about dinos, etc.

Susie in ms,

Don't you love the connections they make in LHTH? Even though it was a different kind of 'Ark' you were talking about, it's wonderful that she relates 'the Ark' with a boat...so she remembers the story of Noah and the flood. Awesome, I just love that about HOD!

We went to the Creation Museum last summer and it is indeed awesome! If you go, make sure you allow yourself several hours, if not the whole day, to really see the place, and don't pass up the bookstore. Wonderful resources there. Our eldest goes to college about 1.5 hours away, and I'm looking forward to visiting the museum at least once more over the next 3 years.

Oh Susie,

I wish you could have seen my face when I read what your daughter asked. There is no greater testimony for this program than how it pulls our children's hearts to the Lord. That they are learning and thriving is just a bonus.

I must have missed the post about your husband. I hope all is well and I do think it would be AMAZING to go to the creation museum.
