My son[just 9] is doing bigger and we are finishing up the emergent rederss.He has just finished up The Bears on Hemlock Mountain.He is reading really well,so well that I think we can start DITHOR soon..only I have lost my booklist.Is there another way I can figure out what 'grade ' or reading level would for him?

You could look at the Book Shop on the main site http://www.heartofdakota.com/bookshop.php I would click on level 2 book pack. That should give you some ideas.

Edie had a good idea - I think that will help! Most dc move from "The Emerging Reader's Set" into DiTHOR Level 2 Book Pack (or books that have that same level of their own choice). This link shows the reading level at a glance for each of the books in both the Level 2 and Level 3 book packs. HTH!

Not long ago, there was a PDF file on the HOD site that was the sample book list...I saved it somewhere but I think it was bookmarked (or file was saved) on my computer that crashed. Is that not available online anymore? I know it wasn't that long ago...last year maybe?

To my knowledge, there is not a current Sample Book Ideas list in PDF format on the board. The available list is $5 at this link...

Maybe I was imagining! I sure thought I'd found a link at some point to a pdf form of it. Don't trust my memory right now! ha! And I can assure you that the list is worth the $5

Oh yesI bought it when I bought DITHOR superpackge.Its just we have been remodelling..and I know put it somewhere safe ..
I think I have figured out what I planned to do now.
