Well, my oldest DS's last day of Preparing is tomorrow and on Monday we will begin CTC!!! I have looked over the guide, books, notebooking, etc. and am so excited to see him grow as a student and child of God in this program! We have now completed TWO HOD guides and I am really seeing the tremendous fruit, growth in his relationship with God, and love for learning in my son that I desired when we started out! THANKS to Carrie for all her and her family's sacrifices and hard work...I can't even imagine writing all these programs on top of homeschooling four children...our family so appreciates you following God's calling and using the gifts He has given you for Him and homeschooling families!

ETA: There are a lot of exclamation marks in this post, but I guess they just convey how great we feel!!!

I'm excited for you too - CTC is amazing! We had so many great conversations, and my ds learned so much in CTC. He started becoming a more mature Christian with a deeper faith in CTC, and he's been growing more ever since. It's wonderful to hear YOUR excitement for it too - attitudes are definitely contagious! Have a super start - thanks for letting us share in the excitement!

That is exciting! We're just a little ahead of you on your HOD path... we've done Bigger, Preparing and are on week 12 of CTC. I am continually amazed at how much we love HOD and the quality education my DC are getting! Have fun!

Thanks, everyone! We completed Day 2 of CTC and are having a blast!!! My DS really has not struggled at all so far with the next level up and seems to really be engaged with all the subject matter. He especially LOVES his History notebooking pages and Science!

Sounds like he's off to a super start with CTC - I'm celebrating with the 2 of you today! We have found the same to be true here. One guide prepares dc for the next so nicely, that the transition time lessens each year. Gotta love that!
