Wow looks great. Noah loves all the resources and I really like all the maps. He will be thrilled that there is more Draw and Write Through History. Funny aside when he had his testing done he obviously scored very low in all fine motor areas, with one exception and that was drawing. The report said something like "surprisingly he scored average on the drawing subtest." I don't think he could figure out how a kid with the tremors he has could get an average score on a drawing test. I attribute that completely to Draw and Write Through History and notebooking pages.

Will the level need to be beefed up for a child using the extensions but in high school? I'm thinking that won't be necessary according to what is listed on the description, but I just want to make sure. We are in the midst of searching out curr. for our son who will begin high school in the fall and of course want to look at HOD, as well. Also, how independent will the program be?

Lynn,

Thanks so much for taking time to share about your son's progress with Draw and Write and the notebooking pages! :D That is a wonderful testimony and good news for him! :D We've seen terrific progress in both areas with our own son also. We're looking forward to doing MTMM too. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

inHistiming,

The history portion of Missions to Modern Marvels will not need additions for high school beyond the Extension Package. :D We're looking for the level of independence to be similar to what you see in Rev2Rev. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Hi Carrie,

Would Missions to Modern Marvels be considered 9th grade?

Lisa, the extensions are for 9th and 10th graders using M to MM. So with the extensions, yes, it can be for 9th grade.

inHistiming,

For science, you'd need to do some tweaking as noted in this thread (if you wanted it to count for high school Chemistry credit). Link: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10600

Carrie

We love Draw and Write and have really enjoyed the What in the World CD's with Diana Waring. I'm really excited to see those resources used in M to MM! I think they both help to finish hammering in the historical concepts that otherwise might get lost in the shuffle. So excited :!:
