Wyatt decided to make Christmas gifts for everyone this year. I didn't even know about this! Last night we had our Christmas at home, and we opened his gifts. I just had to share this with you ladies, as I can remember an HOD project for everything he made!

Jester's hat for Emmett... HOD's Headdress...

War attire for favorite stuffed animal buddies... HOD's war attire for soldier...

Mural for me with Copywork of 10 Commandments and pictures of Bible stories... HOD's "Draw and Write Through History" (David and Goliath) and DITHOR's mural for final genre project:

Mural for Rich with nature scenes... HOD's Notebooking of science outdoors scene...

Copywork of Names (he had Emmett do this as a gift for everyone), and I can't find HOD's picture, but I know they do this in LHFHG...

I love how HOD's projects are teaching my ds so many things that they just spill over into projects he wants to do himself for fun in his free time - or in this case, for Christmas gifts for others! I just had to share. :D

Julie

Julie,
I love this! That is so neat that Wyatt used all the skills he has learned to make gifts for his family. What a thoughtful boy.

Oh how wonderful Julie. This has just warmed the cockles of my heart. My oldest DD made gifts this year for many of the family and I can imagine next year, like Wyatt, she will have many ideas from projects she does during her HOD journey.
