I just had to mention how well this is working for us! I just started LHFHG with my 5 year old (1/2 speed), and I decided to do LHTH with my 2 year old. I'm not trying to do it all, by any means. I just want to have a little time with just him. We've been mainly doing the fingerplay, the Bible stories, and singing together ... and it has been SO FUN!!! (We'll do it again when he's older "as written".)

I'm mentioning this because if I had to think up something to do with him each day, I'd be likely to skip it. But LHTH gives me a framework for some VERY meaningful moments with my littlest one.

Fun! I'm glad you are finding that time to do something specifically with your 2YO. I need to do that too, I tentatively have planned to do LHTH with her when she is 3, which will be after I have another baby so we'll see if that really happens or not!

I'm so glad it's working for you! I will be starting LHTH in January with my 3yo for the same reasons. I found that I would get too distracted with all,of the fun (and free) stuff online that I would hop from thing to thing and never really do anything. praying all continues to go well for you in this area.

Hooray! I'm so glad to hear this. I have loved having time with my wee ones all planned out for me too in the past. Plus, I felt great about reading the little story Bible each day. It just blessed my heart too.
