I just thought I'd share since I knew you would all understand how excited I am!

I went ahead and got the LHTH for my 3 yr.old. I already had most of the titles so I went ahead and ordered the manual. All year I had grand plans of doing things with her but reality hit and she kept getting forgotten so hopefully this will keep me accountable.

I decided to combine my 5 and 6 yr. olds in LHFHG with K and 1st grade books were applicable. My dd(6yr) is beginning to read but I'm going to go back and review phonics with her with The Reading Lesson along with ds(5yr). The curriculum we were using had more of a hands off approach to reading which I like in theory but not having a strong phonics background myself (dyslexia) I feel like there are holes in her reading skills.

We're right on schedule to finish up with what we're currently using by Christmas and then get started with HOD in January.

Exciting, isn't it? We thoroughly enjoyed LHTH a couple of years ago, I pray you will too!
