Mutiny in the schoolroom!

Well, it was the first day for our storytime book in Bigger (Ben and Me) and with it being a shorter book the reading sections are not that long. I made the mistake of dividing up the 1st chapter and the first part was very short. Ds has been looking forward to the book for two weeks now and I wish I could have snapped a picture of his face when I told him we were done. It would have made a nice picture for the "Week in review" section. Little brother tagging along just for fun was not any happier. However, in a good show of character they both recovered and did not create a scene. I felt bad for them, but it was kind of cute too. If I am going to have schooltime problems, the type when the child cannot fathom that we are done would be my first choice :D

Too cute! :D Stopping too soon when reading aloud is always a momma's perrogative. It is great to leave them wanting more! :D I can't remember having that feeling during my school days long ago.

Blessings,
Carrie
