Mistake about Monticello

Not that this is really that big of a deal, but the History Stories for Children states that the two fronts of Jefferson's house faced north and south. We went onto the official 'Monticello' tourist website (hoping to see an online guided tour, etc.) and found out the the two fronts actually face east and west.
My ds6 was very proud of himself for catching this mistake.
Good to know he was paying attention!

That's an impressive mistake to catch!
DD catches typos and grammatical errors in books all... the.... time...

We just did this activity this week as well and my ds enjoyed it very much. We used a nickel to help as a model and I read that the entrances face northeast and southwest, so that may explain.
