Found a great home for our larger dog...

Post by blessedmomof4 » Wed Oct 26, 2011 12:15 pm

...with us! This was the hardest one to lose in our move to a rental home, because she has been with us for nearly 7 years-my son had been praying about it, and the owner's agent said out of the blue she would try one more time, because she remembered we don't allow the dogs upstairs when she came to see them (as evidenced by the doggie gate at the foot of our stairs now). Lo and behold, the owner said we can keep her for a trial period of 90 days, and if there is no apparent damage caused by her, she can remain with us :) God even cares about the little things-and we think we found a good home for the cats as well.
This is a huge relief and joy for us. The girls and I are looking forward to getting started full-speed again with HOD about 3 weeks from now :D

That is such wonderful news! You are so right that even in the little things, God cares. :D You were on my mind this morning, and I was praying that your move was going well. Thanks for the update. :D

More good news-the cats have been adopted, by the grandfather of a girl at our church, whose own 2 kitties passed away not too long ago from old age. He is a cat lover and misses having kitties around, and it is also his birthday tomorrow :D God is so good-now I can stop thinking about the animals and concetrate on my move :D I just can't wait for the move to be over so we can get back to HOD-the girls are missing it too
